Festa Italiana | IICCI
Festa Italiana is an annual festival of Italy in India, organized by the Indo-Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
I did design 2008 and 2010 editions of Festa Italiana, both held at Nehru Center in Mumbai.
Festa Italiana 2010
Festa Italiana 2010 had a major picture exhibition about Italy's 44 UNESCO heritage sites, UN.IT.
The same exhibition did tour most Italian cities, including Rome, at the Vittoriano, and other countries.
The exhibition space was organized in two different areas: the picture exhibition, with partitions for hanging the pictures of Italy' heritage from famous Italian photographers, making a contiuous, snake like, path to be followed by the visitors; and an hall for events of Italian movies projections.
Octonarm partitions were used, as the setup time was one day only.
Festa Italiana 2008
Festa Italiana 2008 had a large exhibition space, called Vetrina Italiana, 1100m2 showcasing the very best of Italy in India.
It was organized in different areas:
- Automotive, with booths from Fiat and Piaggio;
- Casa Italiana, an Italian House, furnished with “Made in Italy” products so that the visitor can experience the “Italian Lifestyle” concept in the three spaces created within:
The living, dining/kitchen and relax/wellness area;
- Then the visitor would walk trough the Lifestyle area, with many booths provided as bare space;
- the Tourism area from ENIT and Kuoni;
- the Food and beverage area, with booths designed like market kiosks.
The entire exhibition space was designed and curated for IICCI by COTIGNANODESIGN.
